Relaxing Coloring for Adults

American Diamond

Baseball is the National Pastime, not only on the field but in all forms of entertainment.  No other sport has inspired so much literature, poetry, film, music and performance.  Come in for a rollicking, humorous presentation about baseball that explores the historic and literary drivers of this American phenomenon, and how the Internet continues the tradition today.

Abraham Lincoln Portrayal

April was a big month for Abraham Lincoln, from Fort Sumpter to Appomatox to that unfortunate business at the theater.  Join Kevin Wood as President Lincoln for a presentation all about the 16th president.  Suitable for all ages.

Women of the Civil War

Naperville illustrator and lecturer Jim Weren speaks about 50 Civil War women, each of whom faced challenges, hazards, and deprivations that impacted the outcome of the war.  Presented by the Homewood Historical Society.
