Gifts/Memorials/Honorariums

You may wish to donate money to the library for the purchase of materials for the library’s collection. Your donation may be a memorial to someone who is deceased, or it may be to honor a particular person or organization. We ask that you come into the library and speak to a staff member about your gift.
Some things to think about before you come in with cash or check for your donation:
- Would you prefer that your donation be used to purchase an item for adults or an item for youth?
- Do you prefer that the item be fiction? Non-fiction? Audio-visual?
- Is there a particular subject area that would be appropriate for the person/organization? For example, a memorial for your deceased grandmother who loved to bake might be a cookbook.
- Should anyone be contacted when the item arrives? If yes, who?
