ADULTS -- Fiction and Non-Fiction
The Adult Services staff can help you—with facts or fiction; print or online resources; if you're in the building or somewhere else.
INFORMATION IS WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT.
What can the Adult Services staff do for you?

We’re at your service in person on the 1st floor, by phone (708-798-0121), or by email.
Our librarians can:
- Perform quick fact-finding.
- Work with you and guide you through a complex research project, using both print and online resources.
- Assist you in finding items on our shelves.
- Place holds for those items not on our shelves.
- Suggest non-fiction books, music, and DVDs for your leisure reading/listening/watching.
- Suggest fiction items--books, audiobooks on CDs and MP3 discs, and playaways--for leisure reading/listening.
-
Perform outreach services for patrons unable to come into the library.
- Help you use the Novelist database.
- Invite you to a Book Discussion.
