DML Activities

a creative space where you're invited to Do, Make, Learn!

The DML is a creative technology studio with top-of-the-line software and equipment that will allow you to create high-quality projects in many different media. 

Walk-In Digital Media Lab Hours--all ages

Need help with Photoshop?  3D modeling?  Digitizing 35mm slides and photos?  Our DML will be staffed during Open DML Hours to aid you in your endeavors.

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 to 5 p.m.
  • No appointment necessary.


Light-Up Holiday Greeting Cards--all ages

"Participants will be introduced to circuit symbols, component polarity and have the opportunity to attach a LED and coin cell battery to bring their own blinking robot greeting card to life!"--SparkFun.

  • Thursday, December 3 at 6 - 8 p.m.
  • $5 per card fee must be paid to Emerging Technologies Assistant.
  • Registration required.
  • Parents must register themselves and their children.


Hour of Code

Monday, December 7, 4 - 5 p.m.

Join us in the F.O.R.T. for an Hour of Code! Teens will spend an hour working with a computer programming language of their choice. This is a great activity for all teens interested in computer science.

  • Each teen will leave with a Certificate of Completion and a goodie bag.
  • Registration is required.


Computer Use, Internet and Expected Patron Behavior policies are posted in the DML.

Food and Drink are not allowed at any time.
