a creative space where you're invited to Do, Make, Learn!



The DML is a creative technology studio with top-of-the-line software and equipment that will allow you to create high-quality projects in many different media. 


Tinker This! -- for everyone 18 and older

Adults are welcome to tinker with our Arduino Experimentation Kits, Raspberry Pi 2 Kits, MaKey MaKeys and 3D Design Tools.

  • Wednesdays at 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
  • January 6, January 27, February 3, February 24, March 2, March 30, April 6, April 27
  • Registration is required for each session



Bot Builders -- ages 8 - 12

Build a robot! Using magnetic blocks, you can build a bot that does whatever you want it to.

  • Mondays at 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
  • February 1 thru March 28
  • Limit 10

Tech Guys--Grades 5-8

We invite guys to explore STEAM concepts and have fun embracing their nerdy sides! Now cumulative! We'll be exploring 3D modeling and printing on our 3D printer.

  • Tuesdays at 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
  • February 2, March 1, April 5
  • Online registration will be for 3 sessions.
  • Registration required.

 

Tech Girls--Grades 5-8

We invite girls to explore STEAM concepts and have fun embracing their nerdy sides! Now cumulative! We'll be exploring 3D modeling and printing on our 3D printer.

Walk-In Digital Media Lab Hours--all ages

Need help with Photoshop?  3D modeling?  Digitizing 35mm slides and photos?  Our DML will be staffed during Open DML Hours to aid you in your endeavors.

  • Thursday, February 4, 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 3, 6 to 8 p.m.
  • No appointment necessary.

3D Printing Club--all ages

We welcome novices and pros to this exciting club. Each session will include a show and tell, 3D news, Q&A and Prototype of the Week.

  • Mondays at 5 to 6 p.m.
  • February 15, March 21, April 18
  • Online registration is required for each session.

Computer Use, Internet and Expected Patron Behavior policies are posted in the DML.

Food and Drink are not allowed at any time.
