About
Through the library's participation in the new ListenIllinois program, Homewood Library patrons may now listen to downloadable e-audiobooks from their home computers. E-audiobook titles from NetLibrary / RecordedBooks may be downloaded at home to patrons' computers and/or MP3 players.
It's easy to get started. Simply click on the link below and enter your library card number. You will then be directed to the NetLibrary website where you can create your own NetLibrary password-protected account. When your NetLibrary account is created, you can browse, search and download any of the titles on the NetLibrary / Recorded Books website to your home computer or MP3 player.
Go ahead and give it a try! Through our participation in ListenIllinois, and digital downloading, the collection of titles that we can offer to our patrons is truly amazing. We think you'll love the variety of titles that are now available.
For a complete guide to taking advantage of this program to its fullest extent, see our E-Audio FAQ.

You will need Microsoft Windows Media Player v9 or above on your PC.
See the list of listening devices supported by NetLibrary.
At this time Apple iPods are not compatible with this service.
