The 2008-2009 Lyric Opera Preview Season kicks off on Saturday September 20^th with an overview of this season's offerings. The program will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the meeting room.

The Homewood Library offers a broad range of operatic material for your listening and reading pleasure.

• Recordings: for the current as well as past seasons are available for loan in a variety of formats
• Commentaries on CD: a separate CD for each opera.
• The New Grove Dictionary of Opera: four volumes about opera in the Reference Department.
• Books: a large selection of books on opera, composers, and music.

The WFMT Radio Network (98.7 FM) will present the following broadcasts:
