What can the Adult Services staff do for you?

Adult Services--Main Floor

We’re at your service in person on the 1st floor, by phone (708-798-0121), or by email.

Our librarians can:

  •

    Perform quick fact-finding.

  • Work with you and guide you through a complex research project, using both print and online resources.
  • Assist you in finding items on our shelves.

  • Place holds for those items not on our shelves.

  • Suggest non-fiction books, music, and DVDs for your leisure reading/listening/watching.

Check out Next Reads—an electronic newsletter service with newsletters on more than 20 subjects, including both fiction and non-fiction materials.  You may subscribe to selected topics for delivery to your personal email account, or simply click on a topic to read the most recent article on that subject.
