March
Monday, March 3, 7-8 PM Reverse Homewood Idol, the Auditions Round
Are you the least talented singer in Homewood? Do you want to pretend that you are? Then come to Reverse Homewood Idol, the contest where Randy, Paula, and Simon try to find the worst singer in Homewood! Anyone in grades 7-12 is invited to audition. Those who get a golden ticket to, well, Homewood, will go on to the final round on Monday, March 31. Refreshments will be served. Feel free to bring your friends to perform or just watch.
Wednesday, March 12, 7-8:30 PM Junior High Gaming Night
Try out any of the library's video games (DDR, Guitar Hero II and III, Wii). Anyone in grades 7 and 8 is welcome. Refreshments will be served. Feel free to bring your friends!

Thursday, March 27, 7-8 PM Teen Book Discussion
Come to discuss this months title (T.B.A.) with teens in grades 7-12. Copies of the book can be picked up at the circulation desk in advance. New members are always welcome. A snack will be served. Find out who the least talented singer in Homewood is, as the audience crowns the winner of the first ever Reverse Homewood Idol contest. Anyone (including grownups!) is welcome to come. Refreshments will be served. Feel free to bring your friends.

Monday, April 7, 7-8 PM High School TAB The Inside Look at College Admissions
Guest speaker Libby Pearson, an admissions counselor at the prestigious University of Chicago, will share tips on the college admissions process, including financial aid and the best courses to take your junior and senior year. A Q&A will follow. Refreshments will be served. Anyone in grades 9-12 is welcome.

For teens in grades 7-12, writing group offers a fun and supportive environment for writers to share what theyve written, offer constructive criticism, and support other teen writers.
