Homewood library cards are free to residents of incorporated Homewood and East Hazel Crest. If you live in unincorporated Homewood, Fee Cards are available. To get a card, you must come in to the library.
Adults and Youth Over 14 Years Old
Present a valid photo ID with your current address OR two pieces of preprinted mail with your name and current address.
Bring 1 of these:
- Driver's License
- State ID card
Bring 2 of these:
- Utility bills
- Cell phone bills
- Credit card statements
- Mortgage or lease agreement
- Checkbook or bank statement
- Insurance cards or statements
Youth 14-18 with No Valid Photo ID
May use school ID.
Youth Under the Age of 14
A parent or guardian must be present with the youth and provide the same proof of residency required for Adults.
To renew your existing card or replace a lost card, please visit the library. The lost card replacement fee is $3.
