This “In Memoriam” collection was purchased with funds donated to recognize the life of former library staff member, Tony Coleman, taken from us much too young.
The books in this collection are a tribute to Tony’s love of cooking. Tony shared this love of cooking through conversation and sharing of recipes both informally, with staff and patrons, and formally, during a discussion group devoted to cooking and recipe sharing, which he hosted.
Tony’s kind and patient spirit and always pleasant and professional demeanor continue to be sorely missed by the Homewood Public Library. It is our hope that through these books and recipes a bit of Tony’s spirit shall live on.
